Ecocentric Us

Ecocentric Us is a popular, independent zero-waste and refill shop located at 7 The Parade between The Little Haberdashery and Trew Art. Founded by Milda Palekaite, the store is known for its strong community focus, championing sustainable and conscious living.

At Ecocentric Us, you can browse a carefully curated selection of eco-friendly products and locally sourced food items. Some of the primary offerings include:

• Refill Stations: Bring your own containers to fill up on household and beauty essentials, including cleaning products, washing-up liquid, dishwasher powder, and olive oil.
• Artisan & Fresh Foods: The shop stocks a wonderful array of local produce and artisan treats, such as Swedish cinnamon buns, bagels, and fresh focaccia. It is also known for stocking an incredible selection of fermented foods like kimchi, kefir, and kombucha.
• Community Events: Ecocentric Us regularly hosts local community initiatives like clothes swaps, mending and repair sessions, and fermentation workshops. Milda along with a resident, Ruth, organises the quarterly Claygate Market held on the last Sunday of each quarter except December when it is held on the middle Sunday of December.
